Werent is the new AIAP main sponsor

Werent is pleased to announce its partnership as main sponsor with AIAP, the Italian Association of Basketball Referees.

Thanks to this agreement, Werent will support AIAP in its activities and in promoting the development of refereeing in Italian basketball, confirming Werent's continuous investment in supporting high-level sporting initiatives in Italy. Among the activities carried out by the Association is "AIAP for Charity", an annual fundraiser which aims to make a concrete contribution to those in need.

Furthermore, the Werent brand will appear on the new pre-match jacket that the national referees will wear before taking to the pitch - during the warm-up - in all men's Serie A, A2 and B and women's Serie A1 and A2 matches.

The AIAP brings together and represents Italian basketball referees as a trade association, protecting their interests and encouraging their constant improvement and the defense of their dignity. The Association promotes the figure of the referee in sport and in society through continuous initiatives, giving visibility and trying to break down clichés. The collaboration with Werent will allow AIAP to further strengthen its mission and bring Italian basketball to a higher level.
